About Césence

Life after forty has taught me that skincare is more than beauty; it is self-care. Even in my younger years, I treated skincare as a priority, but now it has become a true passion. For me, beauty is not about erasing every line. It is about aging gracefully and maintaining a natural, healthy glow at every stage of life.

I have always been expressive and demonstrative, quick to laugh hard, smile big, and show how I feel. Motherhood has not always allowed for eight hours of sleep each night, so naturally, over time, that combination left its traces: fine lines across my forehead, soft creases from countless smiles, and a little under-eye puffiness. Instead of hiding them, I chose to care for them.

Product curiosity soon turned into research. I explored botanicals, essential oils, and precise ratios until I discovered a combination that truly worked, a serum that softened fine lines and restored a healthy, radiant glow.

Friends and family started asking about my secret, and their enthusiasm inspired the name Césence, a blend of my nickname “Ces” and the word “essence,” reflecting the pure essence of timeless beauty.

Césence begins with Defy Time, born from my own skincare journey, but it represents more than a product. It embodies the belief that everyone deserves to feel confident, radiant, and beautifully themselves while embracing the journey of aging with grace and glow.
